Students, You will have to do ONE book report this quarter. You must have your book approved by the teacher before you can read it for your book report. Here are several options for your book report. Pick ONE and be ready to present it to the class before October 8, 2010. This is the Friday before the end of the quarter and it gives me time to enter the grade into the report card. - Write a book report. This is a form that is filled out and you will get it from your teacher.
- Diorama of a Scene. Use a shoebox to create a scene from the book which is described in detail. Write out a brief summary of the book and present to the class.
- Book in a Bag Report. Decorate a grocery bag with the title and author of the book on the outside. Select at least 5 items from home to put into the bag that relate to the story. Write out a brief summary of the book and present to the class.
- Dress Up as a Character. Dress as one of the main characters of the book and read a written summary of the book to the class in first person.
