Language:  Students have started writing their creative, narrative stories about the Journey through the Heart.  Due next Wednesday 2/15

Spelling: See the side-bar for this week's words.

Science: Students are learning about the parts of the heart, blood flow through the heart and the blood vessels.  They are also doing labs to learn about the scientific method.  Test over the heart and blood will be next Tuesday, 2/14 

Math:  Students have started geometry-lines, rays, points.  Everyone should be doing IXL 15mins per week.  I get a weekly report on each student which I add to their grade. 

Reading: Students are reading "Treasure Island" and working on reading skills. They are at Chpt. 26 today.

History:  Revolutionary War -the Boston Tea Party, Continental Congress, and the Declaration of Independence  

Saying of the week: "Money burning a hole in your pocket"
